🚀 Installation & Basic Usage

1. Download the user .zip file and extract it anywhere you like.
2. Run game_backups_pro.exe (or game_backups.exe).
3. Click ➕ Add Folder to add your game save folders.
4. Click Backup to create a backup! Files are saved in the backups folder.
5. Use Restore to easily restore from any backup.

🧩 Addon Guide (Pro Only)

The true power of the Pro version lies in Addons. Addons can send Discord notifications, auto-sync to another drive, and more!

How to use addons

1. Get an addon (.py file) created by someone else or make your own.
2. Place it inside the addons folder of the program.
3. Click 🧩 Addon Manager in the program.
4. Click 🔄 Refresh List to update the addon list.
5. Enable the new addon by toggling its switch!

❓ FAQ

Q. How do I enable auto backup? (Pro)
A. Click ⚙️ Settings, enable “Auto Backup,” then set your preferred time.

Q. My addon isn’t working and shows an error!
A. Most likely, the addon requires an extra library. Check the error message and install the required library with:
pip install [library_name] in CMD.

Q. My antivirus says it’s a virus!
A. Python apps built with PyInstaller can trigger false positives. This tool is 100% safe. If you prefer, you can review the Developer Source Code.

Q. I found a bug! / Can you add this feature?
A. This software is no longer actively maintained. Please use it as-is.

Q. My addon doesn’t work!
A. The addon system is an experimental feature intended for advanced users. The operation and troubleshooting of addons are the responsibility of the addon creators and the user community. The developer does not provide support for addons.
